DESCRIPTION: Established in 1920, Hong Kong Medical Association is a professional body, which brings together all medical practitioners of Hong Kong under a roof. The main aim of this body is to foster the welfare of medical profession and health of the public. Presently, it comprises of more than 7000 medical practitioners as its current members. The organization has a 30-member council, which nominates individuals to serve the various institutions like Medical Council of Hong Kong, Council of Smoking and Health Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

The Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong
DESCRIPTION: The Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong is a not-for-profit association consisting of 124 members representing more than 50,000 individual professionals from all over the country.
