| The US demand for cabinets is projected to expand at a rate of 3 percent per year through 2010 to $16 billion. The institutional market is expected to lead gains through 2010. A stronger economic outlook will boost construction of office, commercial and institutional spaces including hospitals, all of which are heavy end users of cabinets. Increases in repair and improvement activity will also help the cabinet demand. Hospital cabinets are widely used to safely store a number of medical supplies viz. infrared ear thermometer, patient diagnostic equipment, laryngoscope, bed scales, etc.
