Rebreathing Bag
A rebreathing bag is a medical instrument that provides gas (mainly oxygen) for breathing and side by side treats the exhaled gas also. Because of the recycling facility the amount of breathing gas used is reduced. This makes the device light and compact. Its characteristic capacity is 2 litres. The material used mostly is high quality black rubber. There is a broad bore connector at the top of it. If the patient is on assisted ventilation it is used to push the gases into the lungs.
