| A cast knife is a device that removes plaster casts. It has a carbonized steel blade that is a little curved along the length of the backside. It is beveled also i.e. there is a sloping surface along the back of the blade. The handle of the blade may be wooden or made of plastic. It is usually 16 cm long and about 2 cm wide.
